Reclaim Your Health —
On Your Terms, With Expert Guidance

Nurse-led wellness coaching is a deeply personalized, ongoing partnership that brings registered nursing expertise directly to your lifestyle — bridging the gap between clinical insight and the everyday choices that shape your health. This is not generic advice. It is expert, evidence-informed guidance calibrated precisely to you.

What Is Nurse-Led Wellness Coaching?

At its core, nurse-led wellness coaching is a personalized, ongoing relationship — one led by a registered nurse who understands health not just as the absence of disease, but as a living, dynamic state shaped by your habits, your history, your environment, and your goals. Unlike a single clinic visit or a one-size-fits-all wellness program, this is a sustained partnership. Together, we explore the root causes behind your symptoms, strengthen your health literacy, and build meaningful behavior change grounded in real medical knowledge. My work with you is not about motivation alone — it is about understanding what your body is telling you and giving you the tools to respond with clarity and confidence.

What distinguishes nurse-led coaching from standard wellness or life coaching is the clinical compass I bring to every session. As a registered nurse, I can read and interpret your lab results, understand the medications you take and how they interact with your lifestyle, communicate meaningfully with your other providers, and draw direct connections between your daily choices and measurable health outcomes. A life coach can inspire — and that has real value. But a nurse coach can explain precisely why your sleep deprivation is affecting your blood pressure, or why the fatigue you are dismissing as stress may warrant a closer look. That clinical depth is not incidental to this work; it is the foundation of it.

In practice, our coaching relationship unfolds through regular sessions — available virtually from anywhere, or in person throughout Greater Boston and surrounding communities. You will receive a personalized wellness plan that evolves as you do, consistent accountability without judgment, and a nurse who genuinely knows your story, your challenges, and your aspirations. Whether we speak weekly or biweekly, you will never feel like a file number. My practice is intentionally small so that every client receives the full depth of my attention and care.

YOUR WELLNESS, IN FULL

What We Address Together

Wellness does not live in a single category — and neither does my coaching. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis, recovering from burnout, or simply ready to take your health more seriously, our work together can span any dimension of your wellbeing that matters to you. The following areas are those I most frequently partner with clients to address:

  • Stress management and burnout recovery

  • Sleep optimization and persistent fatigue

  • Nutrition and hydration habits — supportive, not prescriptive

  • Chronic disease self-management, including diabetes, hypertension, and autoimmune conditions

  • Post-diagnosis lifestyle adjustment and health confidence

  • Medication adherence, side-effect navigation, and health literacy

  • Movement, activity planning, and sustainable exercise habits

  • Work-life integration and sustainable boundary-setting

  • Navigating the healthcare system with clarity and confidence

  • Preventive health goal-setting, tracking, and accountability

This list is a starting point, not a constraint. Every client I work with brings a unique constellation of needs, and my approach is always shaped by yours.

HOW IT WORKS

The Coaching Experience

My coaching process is structured to create momentum from the very first conversation — and to build the kind of deep, sustained progress that actually lasts. Here is what you can expect:

STEP ONE

The Discovery Session

We begin with a comprehensive intake — a spacious, unhurried conversation covering your full health history, your current challenges, what you have already tried, and where you most want to go. This is not a clinical intake form read back to you; it is a genuine dialogue, conducted with curiosity and care. No judgment lives here — only the deep listening that is the foundation of real change. By the end of our first session, I will have a clear picture of who you are and what this work needs to be.

STEP TWO

Your Personalized Wellness Plan

Drawing on everything I learn in our discovery session — and on my clinical training — I develop a personalized wellness plan tailored precisely to your life, your body, and your goals. This is not a generic protocol pulled from a template. It is a living document, built around your schedule, your preferences, your medical context, and your pace. We review it together, adjust it freely, and treat it as the compass for our work — not a rigid mandate.

STEP THREE

Ongoing Sessions

Regular check-ins — weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and preferences — form the heartbeat of our coaching relationship. Each session is an opportunity to review your progress with honesty and warmth, troubleshoot what is not working, refine strategies, and celebrate the wins that often go unacknowledged in a busy life. Between sessions, you will have access to my support through secure messaging, so you never feel alone in the process.

STEP FOUR

Integration & Independence

The deepest goal of our work together is not dependency — it is mastery. Over time, the habits we build, the knowledge you gain, and the self-awareness you develop will give you the confidence to manage your own wellbeing with skill and ease. The arc of this coaching relationship bends toward your independence: a future version of you who knows your body, trusts your instincts, and navigates the healthcare world without anxiety or confusion.

Who This Is For

My coaching practice welcomes anyone who is ready to engage seriously with their health — not as a project to be optimized, but as a relationship to be tended. That said, I find this work is especially resonant for certain people: those whose healthcare needs have outgrown what a standard fifteen-minute appointment can address, and who are ready for something more intentional.

  • Professionals managing chronic stress, burnout, or the quiet erosion of adrenal fatigue

  • Clients recently diagnosed with a chronic illness who want to understand it deeply and manage it proactively — not just reactively

  • Anyone who has cycled through wellness programs, apps, or plans and found them too generic, too impersonal, or simply not built for their reality

  • Post-surgical clients in the gradual, often unguided process of returning to full health and vitality

  • Parents, caregivers, and partners who have spent years placing everyone else's health before their own

  • High performers who want clinical-grade accountability, not generic encouragement, for their wellness goals

To bring that to life — here are two portraits of clients I deeply enjoy working with:

A MOMENT IN PRACTICE

Marcus came to me after his physician flagged elevated blood pressure at his annual physical — his third consecutive year of borderline readings. At 47, he was managing a senior leadership role in Boston's financial sector, sleeping six hours on a good night, and had quietly stopped exercising sometime during the pandemic. He did not need a lecture on stress; he needed someone who could connect the dots between his clinical picture and his daily life, and help him build a path back that actually fit his world. We worked together for six months. He normalized his blood pressure without medication, reclaimed his mornings, and — perhaps most meaningfully — learned to read his own body's signals before they became crises.

A MOMENT IN PRACTICE

Diane received a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis at 54 and left her endocrinologist's office holding a pamphlet and a referral — and feeling utterly alone in what came next. When we began working together, her primary goal was simply to understand what was happening inside her body. Over our first few sessions, we translated her lab trends into plain language, built a nutrition and movement approach she could sustain around her life as a working grandmother in the South Shore, and established a routine that made her feel capable rather than managed. By her next quarterly labs, her A1c had dropped meaningfully — and more importantly, she felt like the author of her own health story again.

Coaching Formats

Lotus Mind & Body is a concierge practice — which means I design the experience around your life, not the other way around. Coaching sessions are available in three formats:

Virtual Coaching Sessions

Conducted via secure, private video conferencing, virtual sessions offer the full depth of the coaching experience from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever your day has taken you. Virtual is my most flexible format — and just as personal as being in the room together.

In-Person Sessions

Available throughout Greater Boston and the surrounding communities — including the North Shore, South Shore, MetroWest, and the Merrimack Valley. In-person sessions are conducted in your home, your office, or a private location of your choosing. I come to you, with full discretion and professionalism, so that geography never stands between you and care.

Hybrid Models

Many of my clients find that a combination of in-person and virtual sessions works beautifully — beginning a new phase of work in person, then maintaining momentum through virtual check-ins. Every hybrid arrangement is built around what serves you best, and it can evolve as your needs do.

Coaching vs. Clinical Care — An Important Distinction

Wellness coaching is not a form of medical treatment, and it is important that this distinction is clear. In my role as a wellness coach, I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or replace the care of your physician, specialist, or any other licensed provider. My coaching relationship with you exists alongside your medical care — never instead of it. If at any point I observe something that warrants clinical attention, I will tell you clearly and help you access the right support.

What I bring to this work, however, is a clinical depth that makes coaching something far richer than advice-giving. My nursing background means I can help you interpret your lab results in plain language, prepare meaningful questions for your provider appointments, understand what your treatment plan is actually designed to do, and translate clinical recommendations into sustainable daily habits. In this way, my coaching and your medical care do not simply coexist — they amplify each other, creating a more coherent and empowered experience of your own health.
